About this series: These individual 2-hour workshops will help new and beginning urban farmers and gardeners overcome some of the major obstacles to running successful urban agriculture and community garden projects, from accessing land to growing food to being heard by the city government.
The North Texas Urban Agriculture Success Project offers educational opportunities, including workshops and hands-on guidance, to help start, sustain, and grow sustainable agriculture businesses and organizations in Dallas-Fort Worth. By working closely with urban farmers, gardeners, and community food leaders, the project encourages grassroots economic development and increases community food security.
