Do you make and sell artisan food products using fresh fruits and vegetables? Have you thought about using locally-grown produce to give your product a marketing edge? This webinar will help you understand the seasonality and availability of produce in North Texas, how to talk with farmers about their produce, and tips for working with farmers. This webinar is Part 1 of a series of 2 aimed at helping artisan food producers understand the pros, cons, and strategies for working with local farmers.

Who should attend: Any one producing artisan foods in North Texas who wants to or is thinking about incorporating local, seasonal fruits and/or vegetables or anyone who is planning to produce artisan food products using fresh fruits and veggies from North Texas.

Presenter: Susie Marshall is founder and Executive Director of GROW North Texas and has nearly two decades of work with farmers in North Texas and statewide. She understands the local food system and its opportunities and pitfalls.
