This Nuts and Bolts workshop walks attendees through steps for starting an urban agriculture project. There are many things to think about, and this workshop will help outline those. There is no cost for this workshop.

About this series: These individual 2-hour workshops will help new and beginning urban farmers and gardeners overcome some of the major obstacles to running successful urban agriculture and community garden projects, from accessing land to growing food to being heard by the city government.

The North Texas Urban Agriculture Success Project offers educational opportunities, including workshops and hands-on guidance, to help start, sustain, and grow sustainable agriculture businesses and organizations in Dallas-Fort Worth. By working closely with urban farmers, gardeners, and community food leaders, the project encourages grassroots economic development and increases community food security. Funding for this project is provided by the USDA Office of Advocacy and Outreach.
