3:00 PM - Legal & Business Issues for Farmers
This workshop will cover common legal questions that local farmers have, including insurance, forming a corporation or other entity, employees & volunteers, right to farm, & zoning. The information is not a substitute for individual legal advice, but will give you the basics on these topics and suggestions on how to find the right answers for your farm or small food business.
This workshop is offered with support from USDA .

5:30-7:30 PMFARFA's "Raise Your Voice" town hall/listening session for small farmers and local food producers, led by Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance Executive Director Judith McGeary. Supported by grants from Farm Aid and CLIF Bar Family Foundation.
