Getting Your Garden Ready: Sheet Mulching

Whether reclaiming a garden or bed from weeds or creating a new garden or bed in established turf, the simplest, least labor intensive, most effective method is sheet mulching! Among the most frustrating issues we face as gardeners, avid landscapers or simply homeowners are pervasive turf grasses growing through new plantings and invasive weeds continually re-seeding. Sheet mulching is the perfect solution and it can make you a more successful gardener with better soils and much more time to do the funner things outside! 

Join us at Owenwood Farm & Neighbor Space for a hands-on workshop where you can learn the basics and the details so that it will work for you and look great in the process.

Participants can also take home seasonal seeds from our donation stash!
