Food safety should be something that is part of your farm's daily operations. This introduction to the topic will frame the needed concepts to help you implement food safety best practices as you start your farm operation. We will cover what you need to know about the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and basic food safety risk assessment. This webinar is aimed at those growing fresh fruits and vegetables. Facilitator will be Susie Marshall who has been supporting farmers with the business side of farming for more than 5 years and managing a nonprofit for 14 years. She is a trainer for the PSA Grower Training.
