The webinar will discuss best practices when working directly with local, small and mid-sized farms. Topics will include finding farmers, agreements, risks, and mitigations. This webinar is the second of two in a series about using locally-grown produce in artisan food products.

Who should attend: Any one producing artisan foods in North Texas who wants to or is thinking about incorporating local, seasonal fruits and/or vegetables or anyone who is planning to produce artisan food products using fresh fruits and veggies from North Texas.

Presenter: Susie Marshall is founder and Executive Director of GROW North Texas and has nearly two decades of work with farmers in North Texas and statewide. She understands the local food system and its opportunities and pitfalls.
