Opportunities for local producers are everywhere!  But in addition to raising food and/or making value added products, farmers need to make sure they're in compliance with the laws and regulations. 

This webinar will cover important opportunities for small producers, including the cottage food law, special provisions for farmers' market vendors, and the ins and outs of how to legally produce and sell meat, eggs, fruits and vegetables.

Presenter Judith McGeary is an attorney, regenerative farmer, and founder of the Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance (FARFA).  Judith has 16 years of experience providing technical assistance for farmers on a wide range of regulatory issues. FARFA advocates for common-sense, scale-appropriate regulations to support independent farmers and ranchers and help rebuild a resilient, diverse local food system.
