Wheatland UMC Orchard Planting

Grow North Texas and Giving Grove are working with local organizations to develop and install urban orchards in Dallas. Join us December 4th for a work day at Wheatland United Methodist Church. We need 5 volunteers to help plant trees and blackberries that will provide a healthy source of food to the community. 

Plan to wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, wear close-toed shoes, and bring a water bottle. A hat, gloves, and sunscreen or long sleeves are also good items to plan for. If you have a wheelbarrow we can use, bring it! All our tools will be labeled.
