Come explore Bishop Hill Farm Flowers with grower, Amanda Vanhoozier, during the cross over between spring and summer cut flowers. We will use all our senses out in the field to discover the best cut flowers to grow in the spring before many vegetable crops are producing. We will cover flower selection, scheduling, growing, harvesting and post-harvesting for the top 10 spring and summer flowers. This workshop is chalked full of resources, and everyone will learn to use an online planting schedule for cut flower production. Weather event may postpone outdoor workshop to later date.
