DATE CHANGE! GREENHOUSE TOUR & MORE AT TARRANT COUNTY COLLEGE MAY 22, 2025 TARRANT COUNTY COLLEGE NW CAMPUS 4801 Marine Creek Parkway Ft. Worth, TX 6:00PM - 8:00PM
There are many colleges in the state of Texas with Agricultural and Horticultural programs. The opportunity for non-students to explore and see first hand some of the work that goes into making these programs successful is not always accessible. David Cole, the Coordinator II and Adjunct Faculty for the Horticulture program at TCC, has partnered with us to extend an exclusive opportunity to our GROW North Texas family to register to partcipate in an engaging walking tour of Tarrant County College's Northwest Campus Horticulture Program where you can discover their state-of-the-art facilities, including: Modern greenhouse and hydroponic systems, outdoor nursery and future market garden spaces, classroom and headhouse/shop area, and a 5-acre prairie restoration area by the lake, featuring a pollinator garden established in 2019.
MEET THE TOUR GUIDE: David Cole is currently Coordinator II and Adjunct Faculty for the Horticulture program at Tarrant County College (TCC) Northwest Campus. He has worked in TX Agriculture for over 20 years in a diversity of fields. He served as Farm Manager at WHRI in Waco from 2007-2011.
