Join us for a hands-on workshop where we’ll walk you through building a functional chicken run using affordable, easy-to-source materials. Whether you’re new to keeping chickens or looking to improve your current setup, this session will show you how a well-designed run can support regenerative agriculture by improving soil health, reducing pests, and increasing fertility naturally!
This workshop is practical, accessible, and designed to empower growers of all levels. You’ll leave with the skills and confidence to build a durable chicken run that works with your land, not against it.
Come ready to learn, build, and connect with others who are passionate about sustainable, land-based solutions!
The workshop will be on the farm at Owenwood Neighbor Space, 1451 John West Rd, Dallas. A water fountain and water bottle fill station are available. Park behind the building. You will see a Grow North Texas Workshop sign.
