Fruit Tree Pruning 101 at Wheatland UMC

Want to learn the basics of fruit tree care in North Texas while volunteering to support a local community orchard? Come join GNTX Giving Grove Program Director in the orchard at Wheatland United Methodist Church on Sunday, March 1 from 3:00PM to 4:00PM.

We will be pruning a wide diversity of fruit trees on-site including peach, plum, asian pear, european pear, figs, and blackberry. 

Please bring a reusable water bottle, something to take notes with, and a hat. Please wear close-toed shoes and long pants.
